Houghton Classic White

Bright pale straw in colour with a green hue. The nose displays bright, fresh aromas of lemon with tropical characters of pineapple and melon with underlying floral notes giving the wine fragrance and lift. The palate is bright with fresh tropical fruit flavours with characteristic soft, juicy citrus notes. The soft, gentle acidity provides balance and persistence of flavour. Houghton White Classic can be enjoyed as a young, fresh and fruity wine but careful cellaring of 5-7 years will be rewarded with toasty, marmalade like flavour complexity.
